Why we give.
God is generous and so he calls us to be as well. Giving to the church is not about the church "getting your money", but it is about Jesus transforming your heart through your finances. We must learn to surrender every area of our lives on our personal discipleship journey. Regarding wrestling through the giving of our tithes and offerings, John Wesley is quoted with saying "Not, how much of my money will I give to God, but, how much of God's money will I keep for myself."
Ways To Give
Give Online
You can very conveniently give to the local church via the window directly to the right. This is the simplest way for you to give and be able to track your tithes and offerings.
Give In Person
Feel free to drop your offering to the local church at our building in Overland Park, Kansas.
Mail A Check
If you choose to mail a check, please make it out to The Local Church and send it to our building at 12011 W. 127th St. Overland Park, Kansas 66213.
